Tortured Victims (Web)

Though many people do not know it, sadistic minds have found their way to possess the license to kill. These evil people partially kill an animal, and make them experience unendurable suffering while they die. They also prolong the death, torturing the animals before they give the death shot.
The following information will be gruesome. Though not many people actually perform these practices, it is still vital to know that they happen.

Deliberate Shots to the Spine
Bears, elk and other wildlife are subjected to deliberate spine shots from hunters in tree stands. The victims of these spine shots are many times paralyzed or partially paralyzed but they do writhe on the ground in agony and extreme fear -- while on public videos one can hear the hunters laughing and rejoicing regarding the cruel acts (Web). After this happens, the hunters either wait for the animal to die, or they give the death shot after a few minutes of torture for the animal. Spine shot is a terrifying death for the deer and a whole lot of amusement for the bowhunters. Imagine how many deer, even fawns are spine shot so bowhunters can sit and watch the dance of death that can last for hours, one said they can suffer this way overnight. In Sports hunting there is no limit to the extent of cruelty that can be inflicted on the innocent sentient being because recreational hunting is legalized animal cruelty, there is no anti-cruelty law (not that we would want another euphemistic garbage), no one hears their cries, there is no camera except the ones the hunters put on their tree stand so they can video tape the snuffing of innocent sentient forest creatures (Web)

Deliberate "Gut Shots"
These hunters/trappers have said as much on their many public forums and have even come up with a celebrated decal. Wolves who are gut shot run off to die---death taking hours, days, or even weeks depending on many factors; it varies with each assault as to how long it takes for each victim to bleed out or die from a slow gangrenous infection. More often than not, the wolves are not tracked and the wolf hunter makes no claim about it and gets to keep his wolf tag for another day of horror (Web 1). This also happens with other animals who are shot in the stomach. Gut shot is a slow and agonizing way to die often taking up to 12 hours or more. The animals die from their own poison as you can see from a bowhunters tips on finding gut shot deer. "Stomach wounds kill through a combination of blood loss and septicemia, or blood poisoning. The latter results when stomach contents, including bacteria and toxins, enter the blood stream. This, in turn, results in septic or toxic shock, which causes decreasing blood pressure and gradual organ failure. Stomach wounds are nearly always fatal, but a gut-shot deer can live a long time and can travel a long way if pushed (and will leave little, if any, blood)"http://www.bowhuntingmag.com/tactics/BH_wounding_1109/index1.html" (Web)
Because gut shot animals can travel far they will most likely never be retrieved rather they are killed by other animals, or die by a slow, painful infection |
Trapping Abuse
Trappers have been known to trap wolves and coyotes, but some people stand idly by to watch the atrocious suffering that the animal is going through. The metal traps crush the legs and feet of many wildlife animals, and when the hunter finally checks their trap, the animal may be half dead from starvation, thirst, pain, or infections. Some of these animals are trapped so long, that they attempt to chew off their own limbs to get free. If the hunter checks the trap in time, sometimes they decide to have a little "fun" with it, and try to use it for target practice. This abuse extends to family pets, and even some people, including children (Web). Not only do some hunters prolong entrapment, but the hunter may set their hunting dogs on the defenseless animal, and make it endure fear induced suffering. These attacks can last for minutes before the animal finally dies from the brutal attacks by two, three, sometimes even four hunting dogs at once.

Live Skinning
Fur coats have always been attractive to fashionable people, however these people may be unaware of how a particular coat is produced. Over 50 million animals are skinned yearly in "fur farms", The main victims being Beavers, Chinchillas, Dogs and Cats, Foxes, Minks, Rabbits, Raccoons, Seals, and Bears. Some may be produced "humanely", where the animal does not suffer an atrocious, prolonged death before it is skinned. But others are severely less "fortunate" if they are found by a particularly brutal organization. These animals are trapped in wired cages for their whole lives if they are born in the farm, and if they are found, they are trapped for the rest of their lives. While in these cages, they are exposed to the bitter cold of winter, and the boiling heat of summer.
. When it is the right time, the farm workers will drag the animals out of their cages and either beat them severely, electrocute them unconscious, or suffocate them. These deaths alone are brutal enough, yet an incident from China came to the public, which exposed that some of their fur farms actually have skinned the animals alive after these brutal treatments. Once the skin is finally peeled off of the struggling, half-dead animal, their bloody bodies are discarded onto a pile of carcasses that have died before them. The animals are left breathing and blinking slowly, until they die (Web). This can last up to ten minutes before the animal takes its final breath, and once incident even recorded that a dog had enough strength to lift its head and stare into the camera held by an investigator (Web). This information is the most horrific information that you will find on this website.
